FilmFace @ Filmbase - Interactive Film Project

FilmFace is a brand new interactive film project brought to you ‘Made Together’ (www.madetogether.com) in association with Filmbase which gives you the chance to create your own stop-motion film portrait!  This fun project will take place throughout the week leading up to Culture Night and on the night itself. 

 

Filmmaking Workshops / Animation Demo for Young People:

Calling all budding filmmakers and animators!  Book now for free filmmaking workshops and an animation presentation for young people.  Suitable for ages 8+; booking essential.

6pm – RADE Presents short comedy Today

Today (21m) written and directed by Pom Boyd followed by a 9m behind the scenes documentary.  RADE (Recovery through Art, Drama and Education) is a drugs project working with professionals from the arts sector to produce public productions; this is RADE’s début film.   To book call 01 454 8733 or log on to www.rade.ie

 

8pm – New Irish Short Films

Check out the latest Irish filmmaking talent with this screening of recent Filmbase/RTÉ funded short films.  Screening will be: Sunshower (Irish premiere), Starstruck, Blood Coloured Moon (world premiere), Free Chips Forever and Tufty.
