Looking forward to meeting you at Culture Night
Liffey River Cruises

Liffey River Cruises

Liffey River Cruises welcomes you to the River Liffey for a relaxed journey through history in comfort and safety. Professional guide on board will entertain passengers with stories old and new about the river and how it relates to the city. Passengers will get an insight into the history of Dublin City and of the River Liffey in particular, from the first arrival of the Vikings 1000 years ago, to the rapid development of the city during the 18th and 19th Centuries to become a major European capital, and of the subsequent decline and more recent redevelopment of Dublin's Docklands.

To celebrate Culture Night, the Dublin Docklands Development Authority is sponsoring two evening sailings with Liffey River Cruises, which will depart from Bachelors Walk at 5.15pm and 6.15pm on 25th September. The 48 passengers on each sailing will take a trip down the river to the East Link Bridge, and have an opportunity to see the fantastic new development which has taken place in the Docklands. Although places are free of charge it is necessary to reserve a seat in advance.
