Generations of Salthill promenaders visited a little shop on the beach to buy ice creams, buckets and spades. The kiosk now houses a tiny gallery featuring an art installation specially created for Culture Night by Galway City Artist in Residence Margaret Nolan. The artwork will reflect Salthill's happy heyday as the West of Ireland's favourite summer holiday destination.
