As part of ‘Culture Night Tralee’ the three partners are hosting a highlight event called ‘Dancing the Street’ which aims to challenge the Guinness World Record for the Largest Irish Dance which currently stands at 10,036. ‘Dancing the Street’ takes place at 6.30pm on Denny Street and there will be plenty of ‘Dance Buddies’ to assist with the teaching of the dance. Kerry’s Got Talent winner ‘Helena Brosnan’ will grace the main stage area with a soulful opening performance and the colourful street performers will be there to ensure lots of FREE FAMILY FUN! Anyone can log onto www.culturetralee.com to pre-register for this event or just show up on the night!
After the showcase event, the focus will shift to the three main participating organisations, which are all located conveniently around the Town Park. In addition, the three lead organisations will also host ancillary events on the night along with identified cultural partners across Tralee. These events will be offered between 7pm and 11pm at night.
